


JEWELL SINGLETARY is a fired federal worker, independent educator, and multidisciplinary artist. Her poetry and personal essays are published in “Anthology of Poetry by Young Americans: 1996 Edition Volume XXIX” the forthcoming anthology, “Black Girls Om Too Yoga, Embodied Resistance, and Healing” (University Press of Mississippi, 2026). Jewell is a two-time poetic performer at the National Parks Services African Burial Ground National Monument and featured thought leader in SELF, Woman’s Day, Parents, and TIME magazines.
