this is jaime alejandro. i wanted to let you know the arts calling network (coalition included), is taking a seasonal approach to projects and publications from now on. fall and spring will be our open seasons. here’s a few of the calls and projects coming up this fall!
coalitionworks issue 11 will open for submissions october 8th. visit our submissions page for more information! i will be updating chillsubs this weekend as well.
coalitionworks issue 12 will open later in september for a spooky halloween release.
coalitionist newsletter is still going to be emailed via substack. moving forward, however, those writings will all be published on the coalition website. contributors who shared their work in previous coalitionist issues will also have their work moved to the coalition website as well. substack is a wonderful delivery system but it didn’t feel right to have coalitionist writings outside of this website, so i am working on consolidating everything back here.
also, stay tuned for more arts calling episodes this fall. after october/early november, the coalition will take a break until spring and we will do this whole dance over again.
