Before the coalition, I created the cultured animal collective with my college friends. We made weird movies and music.
Our film, Nowhere People, was a music video feature film. The high-quality masters have been lost to time, so all I have left are these potato-quality clips to share. Originally, ‘Under’ was just keyboard and vocals when featured in the movie. Longing for better times during the pandemic, I returned to this track for fun and tried to give the original demo a bit more musical support. Here’s a brief clip of the movie to share this fuller version of the track. Nowhere People is a beautiful memory of mine, thanks to my selfless and brilliant collaborators who worked tirelessly to bring this little big project to life. I hope you enjoy this small piece of it. And don’t forget to get out there and make art with your friends.
